[00:00:04] Lord, we thank you for your love and compassion.
[00:00:11] We thank you, Lord. You are here by the power of the Holy Spirit.
[00:00:18] Holy Spirit, reveal Jesus to us.
[00:00:23] Reveal more of your heart in Jesus precious name that well be changed this morning. Well be challenged this morning.
[00:00:35] Hallelujah.
[00:00:37] You know, the last time I spoke, I talked about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the operational gifts of the Holy Spirit.
[00:00:49] But this time I want to talk about the essential ministry of the Holy Spirit for the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The fruit.
[00:01:00] And we need to experience the love of God in our lives before we can experience the fruit of the Spirit growing in our lives.
[00:01:08] I had a very strange experience this morning, Lynn. I was thinking exactly the same thing you were thinking when you said it, and I was feeling the compassion of Jesus in the worship service, and I was just about to say out loud, Lord, if I go to the ends of the earth, you're there.
[00:01:29] If I go over here, you're there.
[00:01:34] Your love pursues me because Jesus said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.
[00:01:43] And you are in love with an everlasting love. John says, we love him. We love the Lord because he first loved us.
[00:01:53] Ephesians 317 says that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, the length, the depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge that you may be filled. Here's the key.
[00:02:18] There begins to be a revelation of the love of Christ so that you can be filled.
[00:02:25] There are many christians, half empty, a quarter empty, because they haven't got the grasp, how much they are loved, because the love of God is the foundation of your life. When you begin to realize how valuable you are, how precious you are, and how much Jesus loves you, you begin your journey. You know one of the first things Jesus did on his earthly ministry?
[00:02:54] He said, the spirit of the Lord God is upon me because he has anointed me to preach to the poor.
[00:03:04] He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim the liberty of the captives and the opening of the prison to those who abound. Everything. The first few sentences Jesus talked about was not physical.
[00:03:20] It was all in the invisible.
[00:03:23] Have you seen a broken heart? What does it look like? How do you see some. What does it look like to be wounded?
[00:03:31] What does it look like to be crushed? And Jesus said, I've come to heal you from the inside out. I've come to restore you from the inside out.
[00:03:46] When we experience the love of God in our hearts.
[00:03:49] His love can begin to transform us, renew our minds and repair our broken, wounded hearts.
[00:03:56] When you understand this love and to walk in the love of God, then you can begin to experience the righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Everyone say after me, righteousness, peace and joy.
[00:04:15] Think about we're going to just explore those three things this morning because I want them to be a reality in each of our lives.
[00:04:23] It's not remote. It's exactly what the Holy Spirit wants to minister to us.
[00:04:29] See, this is possible for you to receive righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Why? It's because the Holy Spirit's doing the work and love works by faith. Romans 1530 now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
[00:04:52] Romans 1417 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking. It's not in the natural, it's not what you can see, it's not what you can feel, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
[00:05:11] Hey, our minds are not completely holy, are they?
[00:05:17] Hands up those who are not perfect. God, you're slow this morning, church.
[00:05:23] If I was to be really honest, I'd have to lie on my back and put all fours in the air, both hands, both feet. I am not perfect.
[00:05:38] See, we may think and talk and act like we're not perfect. We are aware of our inadequacies, of our failings. Are you really? I'm aware. I'm really aware how the shortcomings I have in my life and sometimes those shortcomings and those failures inhibit us entering into the righteousness, into the peace, into the joy of the Holy Spirit, which is the fruit of the spirit in our lives.
[00:06:05] I want to tell you something serious.
[00:06:08] The devil doesn't want you to entertain any of that fruit. He doesn't want you to enjoy any of that fruit in your life. Jesus said, I like what Phil said this morning. Jesus said, what's one of the things Jesus said? Jesus said, the devil comes to steal from you, to kill you and to destroy you.
[00:06:31] Wow.
[00:06:33] Don't you know you've got an enemy? It's the devil.
[00:06:37] And if he can stop you, he is going to kill you, destroy you.
[00:06:44] But Jesus said, I have come to give you life and life more abundantly. And the life is in the love of God and by the fruit of the Holy Spirit working in our lives.
[00:06:57] It is the Holy Spirit that works in our lives. But we are so aware of kind of like the inward struggle that we all experience.
[00:07:06] In Galatians, the apostle Paul begins to paint a picture at this kind of conflict, this struggle with our humanity that we all go through because we're all growing.
[00:07:20] He said, there's a fruit of the spirit. But then he talks about, now I'm going to talk to you about the fruit of the flesh. What does the flesh look like? What does your old man look like? Something that should be crucified and buried. What does it look like?
[00:07:37] And Paul writes in Galatians five, I say, then walk in the spirit. You shall not fulfil the lusts or the desires of the flesh, for the flesh lusts or fights against the spirit. Think about that.
[00:07:55] And the spirit against the flesh.
[00:07:59] And these are contrary to one another. Here you have a clashing, a clashing of kingdoms.
[00:08:05] One says, I want to do this. The other says, I want to do that.
[00:08:10] So you dont do the things that you wish, but if you are led by the spirit, youre not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident. Here is the fruit of the flesh.
[00:08:21] This is it. It's a miserable list.
[00:08:25] Really miserable. Here we go. The works of the flesh are evident. Adultery, sexual morality, uncleanliness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousy, outbursts of anger. I've had a few of those. Put your hand up. Now join the club.
[00:08:44] Selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresy, envy, murders, drunkenness, revilers and the like, which I tell you beforehand, Paul said, just as I told you in times past, that those who practice such things will not inherit or will not possess or not enter into the things of the kingdom of God. They're against you.
[00:09:05] But here we go. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control.
[00:09:20] Against such, there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the spirit, let us walk in the spirit.
[00:09:32] Let's walk in the spirit. You know, my dear old friend Trevor, who's passed away now, he joined british railways when he was a young mandev and he worked really hard and he grew up and worked his way up through the ranks. And eventually he became in charge of the line from Bristol to Taunton. That was his jurisdiction.
[00:09:53] And you know, when you work on the railways, the language is. Could you pass me that? It's not the language. Could you pass me that, please?
[00:10:04] If you ever worked on a building site, the language gets really really colorful, doesn't it?
[00:10:12] Right? It gets really colorful. And so he became a Christian in his late thirties, and after he became a Christian, he was still swearing.
[00:10:24] He was really still swearing. I don't know what they call it today. Efin and Jeffin. I don't know what they're saying, but he said, lord, help me. Stop swearing. I don't want it. I don't want it in my life. It's just a simple example, but he prayed when he got baptized that the Holy Spirit would help and start swearing. And that's exactly what happened. He got baptized. And afterwards, in his own words, he never uttered another swear word.
[00:10:54] That's a miracle.
[00:10:56] That is a miracle.
[00:10:58] Which was quite remarkable for Trevor.
[00:11:01] You know, he'd been swearing like a trooper for 30 years, and instantly he gets delivered from that flesh. It was part of his journey of growing in the Lord.
[00:11:13] Some changes we experience are radical and instant.
[00:11:19] Other changes are a slow work in progress.
[00:11:25] But there are battles going on in our minds and our souls. It's a process of sanctification, which means becoming more like Christ.
[00:11:38] We are not perfect overnight. It is God who is working in us, but also we play our part by asking the Holy Spirit to help us in the things that are a challenge to us.
[00:11:52] Now, this is quite miserable at the moment because I tell you what, we all have that sense, Lord, I ain't good enough.
[00:12:01] So how do we begin to experience a deep sense of being right with God in our daily lives when we are aware of our shortcomings and things we might say or do and think that are not right?
[00:12:14] So today I want to ask you, do you have right now a deepen sense that you're right with God?
[00:12:24] Do you have that deep inner sense of the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus?
[00:12:32] Let me share some wonderful scriptures with you this morning.
[00:12:36] Second Corinthians 521. For he made him as Jesus, who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ. Think about that's a miracle.
[00:12:53] Colossians 121. And you once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now he has reconciled in his body, of his flesh, through death to present you holy and blameless and above reproach in his sight.
[00:13:13] That's remarkable. Say after me, holy, holy, blameless, blameless, above reproach, above reproach.
[00:13:27] That's incredible.
[00:13:30] That's what Jesus compassion, that's what the blood of Christ does for you.
[00:13:37] You're blameless.
[00:13:39] You know, in my house, I'm called somebody.
[00:13:42] Somebody's left the knife out.
[00:13:47] That's my other name in my house.
[00:13:49] Somebody's forgot to lock the door. I'm just joking. Unless you'll be listening above reproach, that means there's absolutely no accusation against you. You're completely exonerated. You're amazing. You're clean. You're holy.
[00:14:12] John gives us. The apostle John gives us further insight in how we can experience his righteousness in us on a daily basis. Okay.
[00:14:23] John writes in one. John one. Onwards. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, John put it plainly, we lie.
[00:14:36] Simple fact. You lie and you don't practice the truth. What did we say this morning? God wants to worship it in spirit and truth.
[00:14:46] But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all sin.
[00:14:59] If we say we've got no sin, you deceive yourself, you deceive yourself, John says, and the truth is not in you.
[00:15:13] But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and, and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness, deep, right down in your inner deep consciousness, your subconscious, that you have a sense I am right with God. That's a miracle, isn't it?
[00:15:40] I think it's a miracle about myself when I know what I am and the journey I'm on and how the Lord is transforming me.
[00:15:50] So how do we stay in that place of the sense of righteousness in your life?
[00:15:55] There are a few things you can do.
[00:15:58] The Bible says, examine yourself, examine your motives, your thoughts. Are you angry with yourself? Are you angry at other people?
[00:16:05] Check your heart out. Do you need to forgive somebody?
[00:16:09] Ask the Lord to help you with the things that challenge you. What do you need to say sorry about? And keep a short account.
[00:16:19] What I do daily in my life.
[00:16:23] See, the Holy Spirit is our little prompter inside.
[00:16:29] And when we say, oh, I shouldn't have said that, the Holy Spirit will go, you shouldn't have said that.
[00:16:36] So what you say, lord, forgive me. What happens when you say, forgive me? Your sins are forgiven and you're cleansed.
[00:16:45] Two wonderful things that happen to you, not just forgiveness.
[00:16:49] It's not just, oh, I forgive you. But the Lord said, oh, but I remember what you did last week. No, it's gone. The Bible says, as far as the east is from the west, so far as he removed your transgressions, your sin from you, they've gone. They've gone.
[00:17:09] All the ugly stuff you say, all the ugly stuff you think. When you say, lord, forgive me, it's gone. And he cleanses you from all unrighteousness.
[00:17:22] When we mess up and you will go to the Lord, don't run from goddess, run to him because the devil loves to put you in a place of condemnation that would drive a wedge between you and the Lord.
[00:17:42] Because we mess up, because we're on a journey of transformation.
[00:17:48] When you say yes to the Lord, condemnation dissolves that beautiful, it disappears from your life.
[00:17:57] Because the Holy Spirit only convicts, he never ever condemns you.
[00:18:04] The Holy Spirit does not condemn.
[00:18:07] When he convicts, he shows you a way out. He says, this is the way to freedom. Do this, he leads you into paths of righteousness, he leads you into freedom. He never leaves you nor forsakes you. Thats one prayer that really gets on my nerves that people say, oh Lord, dont leave me. He said, I wont.
[00:18:29] What are you saying?
[00:18:31] Jesus said, I will never leave you. My spirit will be with you forever.
[00:18:41] The Holy Spirit is wonderful. He leads you into grace and mercy. Why does grace and mercy follow you all the days of your life?
[00:18:50] David said grace and mercy following. Why?
[00:18:53] Because he messed up.
[00:18:56] And grace and mercy are following David and clearing up the mess that he made in his humanity and the things that you've done wrong. The Holy Spirit is going to grace and mercy will follow you.
[00:19:09] Restore the years the locusts have eaten, restore the joy that's been robbed of your life. Restore relationships, restore you mentally, emotionally, soundness in your life.
[00:19:21] Because when we mess up, grace and mercy are following us.
[00:19:24] They're after you. Grace and mercy are after you.
[00:19:29] Once you know the righteous of God in Christ, you then can begin to experience the peace of God in your life. You can't enjoy the peace without the righteousness. The righteousness, it's the love, it's the righteousness, then it's the peace. They're all joined together.
[00:19:50] There's a couple of kinds of peace. You know, things are not natural. There's natural things we're frightened of, aren't there? Let's face it, you know, if you get, you're frightened some people, you know, I don't know my fear. I've had lots of sort of challenges with fear. I just said to Mason earlier, we were talking about music and I said, you know, when I was 15, the Lord gave me a song I wrote on my guitar. Lord gave me a song and I sang it in church. I was absolutely terrified. I said to Mason, I made at least six visits to the toilet before I could stand in front of the microphone.
[00:20:28] I remember another terrifying experience that we have in the natural. I worked away from home when I was just 16, and I worked on a farm, and this farm had friesian cows. They're the black and white ones, so anybody doesn't know, but most of you will not have ever met a black and white bull.
[00:20:48] They're bigger than the girls and they're really powerful. In fact, most of them, they have to really keep under lock and key. You know, they're quite bad tempered, those bulls, and they're quite big as well. They're normally about six foot in height.
[00:21:03] They've got a head like that, and they're really powerful and frightening.
[00:21:08] And I was 16 years old, and I had to go and get the cows with the herd to bring them into milking. And my farmer boss said, look, whatever you do with this bull, show him no fear.
[00:21:24] For my weapon was a meter long plastic pipe.
[00:21:30] I was at least eight and a half stone in weight. At 16, I will fear no evil.
[00:21:38] And what I didn't know, as I approached the bull, this bull had chains around his neck.
[00:21:45] And I said to the farmer, why has the ball got chains around his neck?
[00:21:49] He said, well, that's to stop him charging so much. I said, what?
[00:21:54] Oh. He said, yeah, yeah, we had trouble with his father. I said, what trouble do you have with his father? Well, his father, the previous herdsman, he went to collect the cows in, and the bull said, no, you're not having the girls. I'm not letting them through this gateway.
[00:22:10] So the herdsman went up to the bull, said, come on, shoot on. And the bull charged him.
[00:22:14] So they got the land rover out to shoo the bull away. Have you ever come across a big bull? Like a ton of muscle? So what the.
[00:22:24] So they got the Land Rover, and the bull attacked the Land Rover, literally smashing it. So the only thing was to have it. They got the gun, went out and shot him. So that's what you do.
[00:22:39] So this was his son.
[00:22:41] Show no fear.
[00:22:43] Big chains.
[00:22:45] As I approached him, fearful, he just looked at me, began to stamp his foot.
[00:22:55] Then he rolled his head in the earth almost, to say, try it, buddy.
[00:23:03] So my little plastic pipe, I went up to him, you know, he was several meters away. I began to shout. He didn't move. I kept going. He didn't move. I kept going. He didn't move. I kept going. I thought, shall I be fleeing? I kept going. And eventually he begrudgingly moved.
[00:23:27] That's natural fear, isn't it? That's natural fear. But how about the fear do you experience in your life? Fear that keeps you up all night worrying about this, worrying about that. How many of you, your sleep is robbed because fear is going, oh, this is going to be terrible. This is what's going to happen. Always going to be terrible. Always going to be terrible.
[00:23:52] False expectations appearing. Real fear is a real force in your life.
[00:23:58] But you know, once you know you're loved, once you know you've got the righteousness of God in Christ, you can receive the peace of God. And Philippians says, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be known unto God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. What a promise.
[00:24:25] Do you know, I actually meet christians who worry.
[00:24:33] Why do you worry?
[00:24:35] The Bible commands us, instructs us, be anxious for nothing. That's no exception. Be anxious for absolutely nothing. Why is that possible? And how is that possible? It's possible by the power of the holy spirit in your life. It's not possible with the fruit of the flesh. It's possible with the fruit of the spirit in your life.
[00:24:57] And you don't have to worry.
[00:25:00] I've had amazing challenges, financial challenges, other challenges.
[00:25:08] And I suppose it helps when you get a little bit older, you realize worry doesn't change anything anyway.
[00:25:15] But prayer does. Come on. Prayer does.
[00:25:20] Prayer with thanksgiving. That's what challenges and changes things.
[00:25:27] Therefore, Romans five one, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoiced in the hope of the glory of God. What an amazing experience.
[00:25:50] Not only can you have peace in your everyday life concerning your life, because Jesus said, cast all your care on him because he cares for you, you can have this constant peace with God.
[00:26:03] Constant peace because you know that Jesus died for you.
[00:26:09] When people who experience fear, when you experience fear and worry on your life, it means you're not mature in the love of God and you're still growing up into it.
[00:26:22] Because the apostle John said this, there is no fear in love, does not exist.
[00:26:31] Absolutely no fear, but perfect love or the mature love or the revelation of the love of God drives out or casts out fear from your life.
[00:26:48] If you're worrying, why are you worrying?
[00:26:52] Because Jesus died for you. Jesus loves you. Jesus has given you his righteousness. He's given you his peace.
[00:27:02] But he who fears has not been made perfect or mature in love.
[00:27:09] When you are mature in love, you understand that the Lord is your shepherdess.
[00:27:15] He cares for you.
[00:27:17] You begin to enjoy the peace of God every day. Worry is a destroyer.
[00:27:25] It nullifies you.
[00:27:28] It disarms you.
[00:27:31] Once you experience the love of God, you can then experience the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. When you experience that, you. You can experience the peace of God, which flows from the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. And once you understand the righteousness, the peace, then you can enter into the joy, the joy of your salvation.
[00:27:54] Lyn said something in the prayer meeting that recaptured me. Only we can sing the song of the redeemed. The angels can't.
[00:28:03] We can sing it. I am redeemed.
[00:28:07] I am redeemed.
[00:28:11] You know, when you have that revelation, you were once in darkness. But he has translated you into the kingdom of the son of his light. Into kingdom of light.
[00:28:20] It's amazing.
[00:28:22] That's joy.
[00:28:25] Now, many of us experienced unhappiness the other weekend when England lost.
[00:28:33] See, happiness depends on happenings.
[00:28:38] Joy is proximity to the presence of the Lord.
[00:28:45] The Bible says, in everything, give thanks. It doesn't say for everything.
[00:28:51] That would be stupid.
[00:28:53] In everything, give thanks when things are going wrong. Lord, I'm going to give you thanks in this situation, not the fact that things are going wrong.
[00:29:06] Oh, hallelujah.
[00:29:13] Paul said, rejoice in the Lord always. Paul wrote his happiest letter when he was in prison.
[00:29:22] He said, I've got to write you a really happy letter. I'm banged up in a prison cell. I've got chains on, but, boy, I'm happy.
[00:29:30] That's incredible.
[00:29:34] He's even laughing about death. The Lord showed me I need to depart. But he said, I think I'll hang around for you guys a little bit longer because it's more needful for me to say. But, you know, I can honestly say I'd rather be with the Lord. What a revelation Paul had of who Jesus is and who he was in Jesus. Whoa, that's great.
[00:29:52] The psalmist says, show me your path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy, and your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
[00:30:05] The joy of the Lord is your strength.
[00:30:10] If the devil's got your joy, you've got no strengthen, and you're just a miserable person.
[00:30:21] The joy of the Lord is strength.
[00:30:25] You can't have joy without having peace. You can't have peace without having righteousness. You can't have righteousness without having and knowing that you are loved by God.
[00:30:34] It's completely all joined together.
[00:30:37] None would exist without the other.
[00:30:43] Hallelujah. Well, I feel better for saying that anyway.
[00:30:50] On a serious note, when we sing about holy God, it's quite awe inspiring.
[00:31:00] And when we think about our own humanity, isn't it?
[00:31:05] It is so easy to feel condemned.
[00:31:14] But the Holy Spirit doesnt want you in the place of condemnation.
[00:31:20] He wants you to know this morning a deep sense of righteousness.
[00:31:29] As we come to the Judah pray, in a few minutes we're going to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal and minister to you more.
[00:31:40] Some of you in the sound of my voice may feel absolutely worthless.
[00:31:45] You might feel I am never good enough to be a Christian.
[00:31:49] Who has ever felt that in their life?
[00:31:52] Come on, be honest. That's the truth.
[00:31:58] None of us are ever going to be good enough.
[00:32:02] But it's the love of God that Jesus came and died for you.
[00:32:07] So if you don't know the Lord today, I want to say something to you.
[00:32:12] Jesus himself died for your sins. Everything you've ever done wrong, everything you're ever going to do wrong, everything you're going to think wrong and do wrong. Jesus died for you, he gave his life for you. He was wounded for your transgressions, he was beaten up because of the things that you say and do and that are wrong. That's what Jesus has done for you.
[00:32:40] He died for you according to scriptures.
[00:32:44] He was crucified on the cross according to scriptures and he rose again on the third day according to the scriptures.
[00:32:55] And if you today would say, Lord, I believe you died for me, I believe you rose from the dead for me. If you say, Lord, come into my life and change my life today you can be saved.
[00:33:12] We don't like to talk about hell, but hell is an eternal existence without God.
[00:33:21] It is the opposite of who God is.
[00:33:27] God is light, that is darkness, God is love. That is what, I dont know what thats going to be. Its going to be awful.
[00:33:34] But Jesus has come to save you.
[00:33:37] Lets pray, lets close our eyes.
[00:33:44] So I want to ask you to make a decision today.
[00:33:53] Do you want to receive the forgiveness of Christ?
[00:34:00] Do you want to receive eternal life that is found in Christ Jesus because he gave his life for you?
[00:34:08] If that's you this morning, why don't you raise your hands while everyone is praying and say I want a prayer. I want to pray that, that you would know a deep sense of peace within you, of righteousness. Is there anybody here in the sound of my voice that said, Lord, Lord, I want to know Jesus.
[00:34:31] I want to know Jesus.
[00:34:36] The second thing I'd like to pray about is I want the Holy Spirit to minister healing to you.
[00:34:47] Those of you who feel condemned, that's not the Holy Spirit.
[00:34:53] The Lord wants you to know the forgiveness that's found in the cross.
[00:34:59] Forgiveness and cleansing from all unrighteousness.
[00:35:04] So just lift your hand. I'm not going to ask you to come out or anything. Just lift your hand and say, Lord, Holy Spirit, take that condemnation from me.
[00:35:14] Take those thoughts of condemnation. It's actually you. Just lift your hands. That's right. Just lift your hands. Let the Holy Spirit heal you to break that power of condemnation.
[00:35:29] That's right. Just let the Lord heal you.
[00:35:33] Don't listen to the lies of the enemy anymore. You're not condemned. You're a child of God.
[00:35:41] The father heart of God runs after you, embraces you, wraps his robe of forgiveness around your life, be restored in Jesus name. Name, I rebuke that condemnation on your life.
[00:35:56] In Jesus precious name.
[00:35:59] And those of you today, your peace has been robbed.
[00:36:06] Sometimes some of you have lost sleep at night because your peace has been robbed.
[00:36:11] That's not right.
[00:36:13] And Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, wants you to experience the righteousness and peace of God in your life.
[00:36:24] So right where you are, just lift your hands to the Lord, say, Lord, give me your peace right now.
[00:36:30] Give me your peace right now. Thats right. Give me your peace.
[00:36:35] You talk to the Lord.
[00:36:38] Its by the power of the Holy Spirit that we walk in the peace of God.
[00:36:48] Last of all, some of you have had your joy robbed.
[00:36:54] The Bible says God gives you the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
[00:37:03] The spirit of heaviness.
[00:37:06] You know what I told you earlier this morning? Today Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy.
[00:37:13] Some of you have had your joy stolen and the Lord wants to restore that joy of your salvation to you.
[00:37:21] If that's you, just lift your hands right where you are and just receive from the Lord. That's right. Just receive from the Lord joy. Again, this is not a happy clappy joy.
[00:37:34] This is a deep inner sense of peace and joy and release.
[00:37:39] Doesnt depend on happenings, doesnt depend on things. All going right at work, all going things in your relationship. This is the joy that the Lord gives you. He gives a garment of praise, the spirit of heaviness.
[00:37:54] In Jesus precious name.
[00:37:58] He wants you to sing a new song.
[00:38:02] He wants to sing a new song. You to sing a new song.
[00:38:06] The Lord is wonderful in there.
[00:38:10] The Lord is so good. The Lord is your shepherd. You shall not want.
[00:38:14] He leads you beside still waters.
[00:38:17] He restores your soul.
[00:38:21] What did Jesus said? I've come to heal the brokenhearted.
[00:38:25] And the Holy Spirit wants it to be a reality in your life. The love of God, the righteousness of God, the peace of God, the joy of God.
[00:38:36] Oh, hallelujah.
[00:38:39] Lord, Holy Spirit, lead us all. Holy spirit, lead all of us.
[00:38:44] Lead us all. Holy spirit.
[00:38:48] Lead us into life, Lord. And those things that need to be changed within us, you change them. You transform our lives that we become more christlike.
[00:39:02] Thank you. We can trust in you, Lord, because you are good.
[00:39:06] You are holy.
[00:39:08] You are so good, so precious to us.
[00:39:13] We thank you in Jesus precious name.
[00:39:18] You know the Lord is shepherding his people.
[00:39:22] You hear his voice this morning as you have. You follow him and his sheep know his voice.
[00:39:32] He comes to heal. He casts out all fear in your life. It's wonderful to have a fear less life.
[00:39:40] It's wonderful to have no fear in your life.
[00:39:43] Hallelujah.
